Cahuachi: largest adobe city in Southern Peru, 20 kms. from Nazca, presently being restored thanks to the Italian Government Mission directed by Professor Giussepe Orefici. Cahuachi was the ceremonial place of the Nazca Civilization. It is formed by a series of pyramides, plazas, and walls covered by frescoes. The ruins have an extension of 20 kms 2.
